Flexible, Bilingual Care For A Flying Start

Committed To Creating A Quality Bilingual Learning Experience Where Kids Feel Loved And Supported

At Jump Start, we believe that the first few years of a child’s life are the most critical for building a foundation of lifelong learning. Our mission has always been to go “above and beyond” for our families, providing an environment that is as nurturing as it is educational. To achieve this, we have carefully selected the Frog Street Early Learning Curriculum as the heartbeat of our classrooms. This nationally recognized, research-based program aligns perfectly with our philosophy of adaptable, family-oriented care. By focusing on the “whole child,” we ensure that every infant, toddler, and preschooler in our care isn’t just supervised, but is actively engaging with the world in ways that spark curiosity and joy.

Nurturing Cognitive Development Through Intentional Play

In our classrooms, we see every interaction as a learning opportunity. We use Frog Street to bridge the gap between “play” and “purpose.” Cognitive development isn’t just about memorizing facts; it’s about learning how to think. Our educators use intentional teaching practices to introduce literacy, early math, and problem-solving through hands-on activities. Whether a child is exploring the physics of building blocks or the patterns in a morning song, we are helping them wire their brains for complex thinking. We believe that when children are having fun, they retain information naturally and easily, setting the stage for future academic success.

Building Strong Foundations in Language and Literacy

We know that a rich vocabulary is one of the greatest gifts we can give a child. Through the Frog Street curriculum, we emphasize daily conversations, storytelling, and themed activities that build phonological awareness. At Jump Start, we also value bilingualism as a tool for brain growth; our teachers encourage diverse language use to boost problem-solving skills. By immersing our students in a world of books and expressive language, we aren’t just teaching them to read later on—we are teaching them to communicate their needs, ideas, and dreams today.

Social-Emotional Learning with Conscious Discipline

Education at Jump Start goes beyond the ABCs and 123s. We place a massive emphasis on how children feel and how they interact with others. Frog Street integrates “Conscious Discipline” strategies, which we use to help children navigate their big emotions. In our “cozy corners” and during group activities, we teach emotional regulation and empathy. Our goal is to model honesty, respect, and integrity, helping children develop the social fluency they need to build positive relationships and thrive in a community setting.

Encouraging Creativity and Hands-On Exploration

Children are natural explorers, and our curriculum is designed to let that curiosity run wild. We provide sensory experiences, art, music, and guided exploration that allow children to get their hands dirty—literally and figuratively. From our indoor climbers that develop coordination to our natural landscape outdoor playgrounds, we integrate Frog Street’s themes into physical movement and creative expression. We believe that a child who is encouraged to ask “why?” and “how?” becomes a confident, creative adult who is unafraid to tackle new challenges.

Tailored Pathways for Every Developmental Milestone

We recognize that a six-month-old has very different needs than a four-year-old. That’s why we value the tailored pathways Frog Street provides for different age groups. Each lesson is aligned with Colorado learning standards, ensuring that our infants receive sensory-rich stimulation while our preschoolers engage in more complex, school-readiness tasks. As a Level 4 Colorado Shines rated center, we take pride in individualizing these pathways. If a child has specific needs or isn’t hitting a certain milestone, our inclusive approach—which includes on-site therapists and health screenings—ensures no child is left behind.

Engaging Themes that Bring Learning to Life

One of the most exciting aspects of our curriculum is the use of themed weekly lessons. We find that when we center learning around topics children love—like dinosaurs, space, or community helpers—their engagement skyrockets. We take these themes and weave them into every part of the day, from the scratch-made gourmet meals we serve to the internal field trips where firefighters might visit with a truck. These themes provide a consistent structure for our teachers while remaining flexible enough to cater to the unique interests of every child in the room.

We are adaptable and work closely with you so that you and your family get the exact support you want and need.

We offer a fully bilingual environment that instructs children in both English and Spanish.

Our environment is built on the principles of honesty, respect, and kindness so that your child easily adopts these character traits.

Our environment is secure, as all doors require keycodes for entry, and there is a security system at every entrance.

Along with safety, we cherish your child’s vibrant health, which is why we provide:

  • delicious meals made of quality ingredients and made from scratch
  • regular visits from a nurse for any health concerns, when necessary
  • on-site screening for developmental delays and in-house visits from therapists

Children learn through play, in fun ways, at activity centers designed for early learning.

Movement is an integral part of your child’s day-to-day, as they learn, laugh, and play.
